In a quiet, secluded corner of Wrexham that most will never see, Gemma & Rob were married at home, in a humanist ceremony complete with the traditional hand-fasting, a reading in welsh from the flower girls (the couple’s daughters), and promises that left barely a dry eye, even among the men.

The men wore tweed, the bride a stunning gown (from Cameo Brides, my neighbour at the Plassey), and cowboy boots! There was a hog roast of course, and a band for the evening with one of the flower girls joining them on drums! It couldn’t have been more perfect.
